Things To Do in the Barrie and Surrounding Areas This Weekend

Barrie Automotive Flea Market

The Barrie Automotive Flea Market is running through to Sunday at Burl’s Creek Events Grounds. There will be items including antiques, collectibles and classic cars. There will be a car sales corral, a show and shine and hundreds of vendors.

Sunset Barrie

Catch a movie this weekend at Sunset Barrie drive-in movie theatre. There are a variety of movies playing Friday through Sunday including Free Guy, Jungle Cruise, Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings, Suicide Squad and Malignant. 

Rounds Ranch Better Late Than Never Easter Egg Hunt

Spend some time at Rounds Ranch for their Better Late Than Never Easter Egg Hunt running Friday through Sunday! Meet and get photos with the Easter Bunny in the sunflower fields, hut for Easter eggs and pick your own sunflower to take home. Other activities include the petting zoo, the corn maze, the Western playfort, the low ropes course and more!

Bees in the Bush Festival

Talk is Free Theatre presents Bees in the Bush Festival running now through to October 3. Events run outdoors across Barrie as well as Springwater Park. Visit their website to learn more about the events and to book tickets. 

Barrie Farmer's Market

Check out the outdoor Barrie Farmer's Market Saturday between 8AM - 12PM. The market features a range of vendors and products including fresh produce, meat, baked goods, honey, maple syrup and more. If you don't have time to shop the market there is also an option to place an order online for pick-up. 

Open Air Dunlop

Walk or bike Barrie's Downtown this Saturday during Open Air Dunlop! Portions of Dunlop St will be closed to vehicle traffic allowing you to explore the downtown on foot or bike. Check out some of the local shops, dine on a patio and take in the new downtown streetscape.

Come Try Ringette

The Barrie Ringette Association is hosting a ‘Come Try Ringette’ event on Sunday at the Holly Community Centre. The event is for ages 3 and up. Children will get a chance to try ringette and will be required to bring their helmet, skate and winter or hockey gloves. 

South Simcoe Railway Scenic Excursions

Enjoy a scenic tour through Beeton Creek Valley on a vintage locomotive this Sunday! South Simcoe Railway Scenic Excursions are a great way to take in views of the countryside while learning about the history of railroading in Canada.
